How can I get the hanseboot catalogue / brochure?


The catalogue is available in the entrance areas and at the information points. After the Fair, the catalogue can also be ordered online. The exhibitor directory can be consulted on the website or via smartphones.

I need a visa to enter Germany.

We are happy to support you in your application for a visa for your travel to hanseboot 2011. You can request a letter of invitation here.

Where can I get Internet access and use of telefax?

At our Business Centers. You can use Internet and Office programs there at a small charge, and print documents. All information is shown here. here

Questions on ticketing

What is the advantage of the "Comeback Ticket"?

This ticket gives you admission to a fair for 1½ days. You can visit the fair for a whole day, and then come back a second day from 15:00 onwards.

Is use of public transport (HVV) included in the ticket?

No, public transport (HVV) is not included in hanseboot-Tickets. But you can buy hanseboot-Tickets at reduced rate at the entrance on presentation of your HVV ticket.

Can I buy my hanseboot ticket online?

Yes. To use our online ticket shop, you need:

  • A valid credit card or invitation card; and
  • A working printer connected to your computer
    If you have any problems when calling up our ticket shop, please check your Internet browser settings to see if cookies are permitted.

Can I cancel online tickets?

Yes, within 14 days from date of purchase, you can cancel online tickets as follows:

  • In writing via e-mail to osc@hamburg-messe.de
  • Indicating your name, your address, and
  • Type and quantity of tickets purchased.

You will get your money back if you have cancelled in writing within the cancellation period. The appropriate amount will then be credited to your credit card after the end of the event. It is not possible to return admission tickets purchased on site.

Can I use an online ticket more than once?

No, every ticket is valid for one person only. The bar code printed on it ensures that it is not possible for more than one person to gain admission at the same time with the same ticket or copies of it.

How secure are my data in transmission via Internet?

All steps in the online ticket shop are handled via a secure server link. Where payment by credit is necessary, this is effected via Saferpay, an external secure booking system.

Will I receive confirmation after printing my ticket?

Yes. After completion and printing of your ticket, you will receive confirmation via e-mail. This e mail includes a link for repeat access to the online ticket shop, where you can print your ticket again if necessary. Please keep this e mail until after your visit to the event.

Is the confirmation e-mail valid as a ticket?

No. The confirmation e-mail does not replace your online ticket. Its purpose is simply to acknowledge your online ticket purchase, and to inform you of your link in the event that you need to reprint your ticket.
